Glen is a seasoned economist and advisor with over 40 years of global and Canadian experience. Glen provides his expertise to Momentus projects that require his experience in international macro economics and many aspects of international finance related to economic development and international trade and investment.
Glen’s career has spanned the International Monetary Fund (IMF) in Washington D.C., the Canadian federal Department of Finance, Export Development Canada (EDC), and the Conference Board of Canada, where he was Senior Vice-President and Chief Economist for twelve years. He currently serves as a Senior Fellow at the C.D. Howe Institute and on two not-for-profit boards.
Glen has traveled the world and Canada as an economic analyst and public speaker, financial negotiator, and advisor to governments, businesses, and international organizations. He has co-authored two books and over 400 reports, briefings, and articles. He provides regular media commentary and is a seasoned economic expert to media.
